Lagu tersebut dirilis pada 20 November bertepatan dengan pertandingan pertama Piala Dunia FIFA tahun itu dan upacara pembukaannya.
Pada 19 November, Big Hit Music mengumumkan melalui Weverse partisipasinya dalam upacara pembukaan. Keesokan harinya, akun Twitter resmi FIFA membagikan video penyanyi yang menggoda penampilannya yang akan datang. Penampilan tersebut menampilkan Jungkook dalam setelan serba hitam yang dikelilingi oleh penari latar, diikuti oleh Al Kubaisi di tengah pertunjukan.
