Gone adalah lagu soft rock, alternative rock dan indie rock balada romantis tentang meratapi cinta masa lalu dan kesepian masa depan.
Lagu ini dirilis sebagai single kedua dari R, pada 5 April 2021, bersamaan dengan perilisan video musiknya. Disutradarai oleh Kwon Yong-soo, video tersebut menunjukkan penyanyi Korea Selatan berduka atas kehilangan hubungan di sebuah rumah tua yang didekorasi dengan rumit.
